Dedicated to empowering young people and preventing teenage grooming through tailored consent workshops
What do we do?
Consent Workshops
Navigating the complexities of relationships in today's world can be challenging, especially for young individuals who may not have been equipped with the necessary tools to recognise and respond to harmful situations.
Teenagers aged 16/17 are often overlooked in consent classes, but this is the age where young people are most vulnerable to grooming and falling into abusive relationships as they navigate dating for the first time.
This is where Misneach Advocacy steps in. We offer tailored consent workshops in schools, with a focus on preventing grooming and promoting healthy relationships and recognising the warning signs of abuse and how to seek help. By equipping teens with the knowledge and skills they need to advocate for themselves and others, Misneach Advocacy is making a tangible difference in promoting a culture of respect, consent, and safety.

Training
Our training program is designed to equip professionals that work with young people and victims of domestic abuse with the necessary language and skill set to identify the warning signs of abuse and grooming and provide the appropriate support in a safe environment. We understand the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for young people, and our training is tailored to meet the unique needs of each profession, including police, teachers, and social services. With our training, professionals will be better equipped to provide the necessary support and care to those who need it most.

Legal Reform
To raise awareness about domestic abuse, sexual violence, and teenage grooming, we must start by educating people about the warning signs of these crimes.
We use social media, public events, and other platforms to spread the word and encourage people to speak out against these injustices. We advocate for legal reform to improve the positions of victim-survivors under the law, ensuring that they receive the support and protection they need to heal and move forward.
